Just under the Granville Bridge (still on the downtown side), Monzo Burger is like stepping back into 1980s Italy. Expect an excellent burger, beef fat fries, and soft serve gelato that would make nonna proud.

A collaboration between three of Vancouver’s favourite chefs, this waterfront shipping container is home to a 100% local, organic, and sustainable menu of fast food favourites. Dessert has to be one of their “puffcreams” – a soft-serve sundae in a cream puff shell.

With a caffe on one side and a ristorante on the other, you can choose whether to grab-and-go, or linger longer. Di Beppe specializes in Roman-style pizza – the kind available by the metre – as well as delicious, unpretentious pastas. We’re also seduced by the cute, house-bottled cocktails on offer.
