Upcoming Event: Circle Craft Christmas Market, November 8 – 12

October 2, 2023 |

You might be thinking that the second week of November is entirely too early for anything to do with the holidays, but the Circle Craft Christmas Market is a Vancouver tradition. The market, this year open from Wednesday, November 8 through Sunday, November 12 in the Vancouver Convention Centre West building, is a hub for British Columbian artisans and makers to offer their handcrafted goods, ready to fill Christmas stockings.

Now in its fifth decade (!), this year’s Circle Craft Christmas Market will welcome around 300 artisans—among them jewellers, knitters, potters, preservers, sewers, soap-makers, woodworkers and more. Check out local companies like Coal and Canary candles, NOC for contemporary, small-batch ceramic pieces, and Devi Arts Collective for jewellery. Don’t miss nabbing a copy of perennial holiday fave, A Moose in a Maple Tree! The full list of 2023 exhibitors is available on the Circle Craft website.

Along with plenty of stalls to browse, there are musical performances, pottery wheel demonstrations by Gordon Hutchens and Cathi Jefferson, plus a chance to win a $1,000 Market Shopping Spree! If you’re not able to make it to the market this year, you can still visit Circle Craft’s permanent location down on Granville Island, perfect for year-round souvenir hunting!
