You might be thinking that the second week of November is entirely too early for anything to do with the holidays, but the Circle Craft Christmas Market is a Vancouver tradition. The market, this year open from Wednesday, November 9 through Sunday, November 13 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West, is a hub for British Columbian artisans and makers to offer their handcrafted goods, ready to fill Christmas stockings.
Now in its fifth decade, this year’s Circle Craft Christmas Market will welcome 300 artisans among them jewellers, knitters, potters, preservers, sewers, soap-makers, woodworkers and more. Check out faves like ¾ Oz artisan syrups, Advika Clothing, and don’t miss nabbing a copy of perennial holiday fave, A Moose in a Maple Tree! The full list of 2022 exhibitors is available on the Circle Craft website.
Along with plenty of stalls to browse, there are musical performances, pottery wheel demonstrations by Gordon Hutchens and Cathi Jefferson, plus a chance to win a $1,000 Market Shopping Spree! Save 25 percent on your ticket price by purchasing online, and entry is 50 percent off after 5 pm. If you’re not able to make it to the market this year, you can still visit Circle Craft’s permanent location down on Granville Island, perfect for year-round souvenir hunting!
