Just For Laughs Vancouver 2022

Let’s brighten those rainy February days! Just For Laughs Vancouver is back for its ninth year, and remains Western Canada’s biggest comedy festival. From February 13 to 23, some of the biggest names in the game will be hitting stages around town.

How big? How about Jerry Seinfeld? Heard of him? Perennial favourite Margaret Cho hits the stage at the Vogue Theatre, and other big names performing there include Oscar and Emmy-nominated Kumail Nanjiani, The Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr., and HBO star Pete Holmes. Quadrilingual comedian Sugar Sammy can be found over at The Playhouse, while real-life nurse and accidental comedian Nurse John brings his “Short-Staffed Tour” to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

With over 70 shows in everything from theatres to intimate studios, stand-up sets to improv scenes, you can build the festival experience that suits you. Diversity is a big draw this year: in fact, Mexican stand-up pioneer Sofia Niño de Rivera will perform a Spanish-language show at The Vogue. Other highlights include Dropout Improv, and YouTube sensations The Basement Yard performing two live shows.

Need to rest that funny bone? The Burrard is the perfect place to park yourself if you’re coming downtown for Just For Laughs Vancouver. Score the best rate by booking directly with us.
