Things to Do in Vancouver – November 2022

November 1, 2022 |
Wendy Underwood
False Creek Seawall

The rainy season is now most definitely here in Vancouver, and while it’s still enjoyable to bundle up for a beach or seawall stroll, there are plenty of enjoyable indoor pursuits to keep us busy. Here’s a quartet that you won’t want to miss if you’re looking for things to do in Vancouver in November.

Lizzo: The Special Tour
November 7
You know those concerts where for days, weeks, and months afterwards they come up in conversation with friends and you’re full of regret for missing out on what seemed to be the show of the year? It doesn’t have to be that way! Catch Lizzo’s infectious energy at Rogers Arena, and belt out Truth Hurts, Juice, About Damn Time and Good As Hell with a few thousand of your new best friends.

Herschel Warehouse Sale
November 10 – 13
We have bragging rights in Vancouver that this is the city where Herschel Supply Co.’s stylish duds and accessories originated. Head on down to the brand’s epic warehouse sale at the Vancouver Convention Centre, so you can also have bragging rights based on all the coin you saved and on how smart those new outfits look! It’s also not lost on us that we can get much of our Christmas shopping done in no time and under budget.

Eastside Culture Crawl
November 17 – 20
A long-time Vancouver tradition, the Eastside Culture Crawl is a unique opportunity to wander our culturally-rich neighbourhoods and visit artists in their studio spaces. As much as we love the experience and opportunity to peruse (and purchase) wares offered by these creators, it’s also a fun time for the nosey neighbours in us to check out the interiors of historical heritage houses, avant-garde loft spaces, and literal peeks behind the curtains of many a local talent.

Tacofino Brewery Series Dinner w/ Strange Fellows Brewing
November 24
What started as a food truck with a massive following in Tofino on Vancouver Island, Tacofino now boasts many local locations for delicious West Coast-inspired Mexican eats while still maintaining their independent spirit. Think things like smoked tuna ceviche with charred serrano, onion, garlic, cilantro, and cucumber, or asadero cheese tacos with edamame purée, lime-pickled onion, sunflower seeds and cilantro. As part of an ongoing craft brewery collaboration series, on this evening they join forces with Vancouver’s beloved Strange Fellows Brewing for a night of delicious revelry.
