Vancouver has long been a hot-bed of comedy talent. Some names you might know: Brent Butt, the Chong half of Cheech & Chong, Seth Rogen, and improv favourites Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles. So it makes total sense that Vancouver also has a killer comedy festival: JFL NorthWest!
From March 1 through 10, Vancouver is laff-central, with big-name headliners like Bill Burr, the Daily Show’s Trevor Noah, Maria Bamford, and Saturday Night Live alums Jay Pharoah and Sasheer Zamata hitting stages around the city.
Along with individual stand-up sets in theatres, you can also expect comedy nights at smaller venues where you can catch some up-and-coming talent along with the bigger names. And new for 2018 is the JFL NorthWest Film Festival, bringing together feature films, shorts, panel discussions and premieres!
