Upcoming Event: Vancouver International Jazz Festival, June 21 – 30, 2024

One of North America’s biggest jazz festivals, the Vancouver International Jazz Festival attracts an audience of around 100,000 music fans each year, with a line-up that spans traditional jazz, through soul, blues, R&B and electronic artists.
This year will be no different. Grammy-winning rapper, Killer Mike, has been announced as one of the festival’s marquee performers, while other big names include Veronica Swift, SUMAC, Julian Lage and a closing night performance by Wayne Horvitz Electric Circus.
We love that the Vancouver International Jazz Festival is truly accessible to everyone, with a mix of ticketed and free events. On June 22 and 23, you can catch 20 free shows on two stages outside the Vancouver Art Gallery, while various Granville Island venues will offer gratis performances throughout the festival. There are also five free music workshops at Tom Lee Music downtown and four free artist talks at the Western Front in East Vancouver.
