Upcoming Event: We For She Forum – November 16

November 6, 2018 |
Wendy Underwood

Coming to the Vancouver Convention Centre on November 16, the 2018 We For She Forum promises to be one of North America’s largest gathering of equality advocates. For the past five years changemakers, influencers, and business leaders have been coming together to help grow the Canadian economy by advocating for gender diversity. This year’s forum focuses on Creating an Equal Future with speakers including keynote speaker the Lieutenant Governor of B.C., Janet Austin; and Jake Stika, Executive Director for Next Gen Men. Designed for both business leaders and “nextgen” leaders (students), the one-day event delves into topics that include “How to Be a Diversity Champion,” “Soft Skill Super Powers,” “How to Rock Being Flawsome,” and “How to Balance Stress and Performance.”

We For She is an all-inclusive event. Their 2018 Action Plan includes taking steps to activate men, champion women, promote and advocate diversity, create positive mindsets, and measure progress. This year’s organizing partners are the Province of British Columbia, the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, and the Women’s Enterprise Centre.
