This French-style brasserie will make your eggy start to the day feel positively Parisian. One of our favourites is their take on chilaquiles, topped with their signature rotisserie chicken, but make sure you save room for their traditional butter tart with Devonshire cream.

Still one of the city’s buzziest spots, Chambar is a treat at any time of the day. But weekend brunch is extra special, especially if you score a spot on their garden patio.

Offering brunch from 11 am – 4 pm on weekends, Delara beautifully showcases modern Persian cuisine. Starting with the Persian Breakfast (flatbreads, cheese, jam, soft-boiled egg), the menu heads off in different directions to bring you herb-filled potato pancakes, a smoked rice and lentil bowl, roast chicken with barberry sauce, and walnut, date and honey baklava.

Distance: 15-minute drive
Price: Most dishes between $16 – $20
Located inside Vancouver Urban Winery, Belgard Kitchen boasts a menu with hearty brunch dishes (like a smoked brisket benny, or a plant-forward polenta skillet) that you can pair with their fulsome range of BC wines available by the glass, as well as custom-brewed beers.
